N.C. (May 24, 2006) – Lowe’s
-- the do-it-yourself retailer known for helping homeowners
find the right equipment and supplies to build, improve and
beautify their homes -- has selected Cardinal Logistics
Management Corporation (Cardinal) to provide dedicated
delivery services for 34 Lowe’s retail locations in
Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. Delivery services provided
by Cardinal will originate from the Minersville, PA Lowe’s
distribution center. The 3-year, $4.5 million contract was
awarded to Cardinal on March 20, 2006 and represents an expanded
business opportunity for Cardinal – an industry leading
third-party logistics and transportation firm, headquartered
in Concord, North Carolina that has serviced Lowe’s
since 1999.
