Cardinal Driver, Walter Hasty, Drove
114,327 Accident-free Miles in 2005
Concord, NC (May 4, 2006) – Cardinal
Logistics Management Corporation (Cardinal), one of the nation’s
fastest-growing 3PL, warehousing and dedicated delivery providers,
recently named Walter Hasty of Leesburg, Georgia, the Cardinal 2005
Driver of the Year. Each year, Cardinal selects one outstanding
driver from their operations nationwide for this coveted award.

Hasty drove 114,327 accident-free safe miles in 2005 and
delivered 388 loads to customers, all of them on time. Hasty
has been with Cardinal since July 1999 and has demonstrated
an impeccable record in safety, service and customer satisfaction,
all qualities that Cardinal stands behind when serving clients
many of which include the nation’s leading manufacturers
and retailers, say his supervisors.
“Drivers like Walter Hasty make our pursuit of customer
service excellence at Cardinal an achievable goal and it is
our honor to recognize him as our 2005 Driver of the Year,” said
Fred Schmidt, Cardinal Operation Manager for the Georgia Pacific
account, located in Albany, Georgia.
Cardinal established a Driver of the Month program
many years ago to reward drivers monthly for their outstanding
performance on the job. Any company driver who deserves to
be recognized for outstanding job performance above and beyond
the call of duty may be honored and can be nominated by another
Cardinal associate. Driver of the Year is selected
from among all Driver of the Month winners and considered
a great honor and outstanding achievement.
