Keys to a Brand New ‘Cardinal Red’ Ford
F-150 Handed Over to Illinois Driver
as Part of the ‘Team Cardinal” Recruitment Contest
Concord, NC (September 15, 2005) -- What’s
big, bold and ‘Cardinal’ red? It’s the fully-loaded
Ford F-150 truck that Clinton McGowan of Solid Transport,
LLC, an independent contractor with Cardinal Logistics Management
Corporation in Chicago, IL, won last month as part of a
driver recruitment incentive from Cardinal Logistics Management – one
of the nation’s fastest growing third-party logistics
firms. McGowan was the lucky recipient in the “Cardinal
Logistics Ford Fantasy Referral Bonus Program,” an
employee driver recruitment referral bonus program that North
Carolina-based Cardinal Logistics Management Corporation launched
in April 2005 for all employee drivers and independent contractors.

thinks enough of Cardinal Logistics Management to refer others
to join our team – and we bring them on board – we
reward the referring driver with an extra referral incentive,” explains

In August, McLoughlin and Cardinal Logistics CEO, Tom Hostetler
, presented the brand new, fully-equipped Ford F-150 pickup
truck to Cardinal independent driver, McGowan, who was flanked
a the presentation ceremony by his wife, children and friends.
McGowan was surprised and delighted at winning the truck,
valued at more than $20,000.

to present this red hot truck to Clinton and his wonderful

the best drivers,” said McLoughlin. “With great

“Finding and retaining valuable drivers, like Clinton

to this new vehicle over to Mr. McGowan with his wife, daughter
and friends there. His daughter wasn't sure what to make of

The Ford F-150 that McGowan is now driving has a high-output
V-6 engine for performance and gas mileage, 4-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive, cruise control, A/C, power steering,
power windows and doors with a remote keyless entry system
and numerous other amenities.
