McLoughlin, Chairman of the Board for Cardinal Logistics Management (Cardinal) – one of the nation’s

scheduled speaker at two leading industry tradeshow and conferences
during the first quarter of 2005. McLoughlin was tapped along
with retail partner - Office Depot - to present at the annual
Retail Industry Leaders of America (RILA) “Logistics
2005” Conference in San Diego, CA. In mid-February,
McLoughlin was on the speaking circuit for the second time,
participating on a panel presentation at the 15 th Annual
Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. Global Transportation Conference
2005 in Naples, FL.
RILA’s “Logistics 2005” Conference
received rave reviews from attendees who enjoyed interaction
with senior logistics executives and the diversity, relevance

to RILA conference planners. Attendance was up 20 percent
over the 2004 event, with over 800 attendees representing

In cooperation with Office Depot, the nation’s leading
office supply retailer, Cardinal’s McLoughlin presented “An
Anatomy of Disaster Preparedness: Lessons Learned from Hurricane
Season of 2004” recounting important steps that
were put into place before, during and immediately following
the deadly string of hurricanes (Charley, Frances and Ivan)
that devastated parts of Florida and the Gulf Coast during
the Fall of 2004.
A Cardinal customer for more than a decade, Lee Jenkins,
Manager of Outbound Transportation for Office Depot, explained
to the audience how Office Depot relied on the “trust” relationship
and dedication of Cardinal Logistics management team and drivers
to assist them with their replenishment strategies and need
to re-stock vital emergency supplies in their retail stores
as communities hit hardest by the storms were faced with cleanup

Transportation Conference 2005, McLoughlin participated in
a private-company logistics panel offering an overview of

past year with an unprecedented 55 percent growth from $200
million in annual revenues in 2003 to $325 million in 2004.
