Concord, N.C. -- April 3, 2001 -- Cardinal Logistics Management (Cardinal), an industry leader in dedicated delivery and transportation
management services, announced today that Jerry Bowman will join
the company’s management team as executive vice president
and general manager. Bowman will be responsible for business development
and operations for Cardinal. Under his direction, Cardinal will
pursue both existing and new customer relationships to extend its
impressive recent growth.

Bowman joins the Cardinal team with more than 25 years of logistics
and transportation experience. He was a member of the executive
team at Ryder Integrated Logistics during that company’s
explosive expansion. Bowman served in a number of key assignments,
including senior vice president for the United States and Canada
with profit and loss responsibility for a business unit of more
than $1 billion in annual revenue and 10,000 employees.
After leaving Ryder in March 1998, Bowman joined Pameco Corporation,
a U.S.-based wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment and parts.
He served as chief operating officer of Pameco until September
of 1999 when he was named president and chief executive officer
of Pameco’s new e-commerce company.
