Jack Britten and James (Jim) Niness join Cardinal’s unparalleled Business Development Team as Vice Presidents of Business Development and will both be responsible for establishing new business relationships and increasing new and profitable sales growth.
Jack Britten, a 10-year industry veteran with expertise in logistics, warehousing, real estate and supply chain solutions, provides Cardinal clients with a unique perspective based on his experience with logistics operations and sales. Jack has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies with minors in Spanish and Mass Communication from Texas Tech University. He began his professional career in 1994 with J.B. Hunt Dedicated Contract Services. In 1999, Jack moved to Cardinal Logistics Management as Director of Operations for the Western U.S. and later managed the Cardinal real estate portfolio as a contractor before rejoining the company in his current capacity in Business Development.
Jim Niness has 32 years of transportation experience with a background in operations, sales, and executive leadership roles including experience in Bulk Transportation (liquid and dry), Intermodal, Flatbed, Final Mile, and Dedicated industries. A graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT, Jim majored in Classical Languages. His recent roles include Director, Business Development at Schneider, CEO/COO at FT Silfies, and Vice President of National Accounts and Regional Vice President Operations for Quality Distribution.
